Mother's Day buffet is traditionally one of the biggest events of the year for MIXT Lobby Lounge. But this year carried extra weight. Following a major labour strike that forced the restaurant to suspend operations for four months, and with the lounge still running on limited hours since December 2025, the priority was clear: get back on guests' radar and give them a compelling reason to choose us for Mother's Day.
"The goal wasn't just about revenue. Beyond the buffet itself, we upgraded the entire guest experience so that guests would choose us again in all occasions."

Mother's Day Menu Design
With a concept of pastel pink and marble white, the menu has a sophiscated look and feel through careful attention to typography and layout. Drink menu was also designed to increase the ticket price from guests.
Early bird promotions
To encourage early commitment and balance seating across the day, we introduced 5% off for reservations made by April 30, and an additional 5% off for afternoon seatings. This gave the kitchen earlier visibility into order volumes and helped distribute covers evenly between shifts, making staffing easier to plan.
Flower Bar
Set up a dedicated flower bar where customers could purchase arrangements to take home, creating a memorable experience and additional photo check-in opportunities for social media exposure and engagement.
Mother's Day Landing Page
Crafted a full page narrative for Mother's Day — from brand storytelling and newly decorated restaurant photos, to food galleries, menu offerings, the Flower Bar and photo contest, and early bird promotions — with a booking call-to-action woven throughout.
